Willem, known as Oom Willie, was born on August 12th, 1911. He had a sister named Susanna .  He was adopted by Johan  Frederik Maritz (Schikkerliing) & Maria  Magdalena  Meyer (Frederika).  He died at the age of 80 on June 22nd, 1992.  He was buried in Noodsberg NG Kerk, New Hanover.
