Anna Maria Isabella Martens 
Anna was born on October 19th, 1858 in Broedershoek, Kranskloof, Natal and her baptism took place on February 21st, 1859. She died at the age of 84 on January 7th, 1943. She was buried in Sophiadale. Greytown dist., Natal.General Notes

Her father was Jan Thomas & mother Anna Catarina Elisabeth Pretorius. So she and her husband were cousins. She was born on Broedershoek, Kranskloof.
NOTE: Her death certificate states that her fathere was John Thomas Martens and her mother Elizabeth Maria. My records indicate her father as Jan Thomas and her mother as Anna Catharina Elkizabeth Pretorius.
After he died, she lived in Voortrekker Str. Greytown.
On her Death Certificate her mother is given as "Elizabeth Maria Martens".
