Lourens Marthinus Erasmus 
Lourens was born on October 24th, 1862. Lourens' father was Jacob Rudolph Erasmus and his mother is Martha Sophia Du Plessis. His paternal grandparents were Lourens Marthinus Erasmus and Dorothea Helena Bekker. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Barend, Johannes, Elsie, Helena, Martha, Martha and Anna. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 86 on December 15th, 1948.-
