Barend Christiaan Klopper 
Barend was born on June 6th, 1847 in Cradock dist.. Barend's father was Jacobus Marthinus Klopper and his mother was Jacomina Hendrina Greyling. He was an only child. He died at the age of 56 on September 18th, 1903 in Rhodes.General Notes
From Death Notice signed by B. Klopper, son-in-law of Joachim Hendrik. This means that he was married to Elizabeth Magdalena.
On her death notice she is a widow therefore he died before her.
They witnessed the baptism of Elizabeth Magdalena Margaretha Maartens on 5 jul 1897.
