Gesina was born in 1745 and her baptism took place on August 27th, 1745 in Stellenbosch. Gesina's father was Lourens Maartens and her mother was Martha Visser. She had two sisters named Beatrix and Maria. She died at the age of 61 on June 4th, 1806 in Stellenbosch.General Notes
