Jacomina Christina Maartens 
Jacomina was born on November 1st, 1917 in Philippolis. Jacomina's father was Francois Maartens and her mother was Hester Maria Magdalena Rabie. Her paternal grandparents were Joachim Hendrik Maartens and Catharina Anna Francina Groenewald (Elizabeth). She had a brother and six sisters, named Izaak, Christien, Maria, Esther, Annie, Jacoba and Wilmien. She was the third youngest of the eight children. She had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Joachim, Johannes, Francois, Johanna and Catharina. She died at the age of 46 on August 20th, 1964 in Edenvale.-
