Hendrik Stephanus Malan

Hendrik was born on November 11th, 1926 and his baptism took place on April 3rd, 1927 in Cedarville NG, Cape.  Hendrik's father was Zacharia Rudolf Malan (Stephanus) and his mother was Cecilia Johanna Smith.  His maternal grandparents were Hendrik Stephanus Smith and Elsie Susanna de Wet. He had three brothers and two sisters, named David, Rudolf , Emmanuel, Elsie and Petronella.  He was the second oldest of the six children.
