Edwards George Martens (Henry) (Edwin)

Edwards was born on May 16th, 1919 and his baptism took place on July 26th, 1919 in Durban.  Edwards' father was George H. Martens and his mother was Bessie M. K. Martens.  His paternal grandparents were August Charles Hendrick Martens and Louisa Francis. He had a brother and a sister, named Roland and Thelma.  He was the oldest of the three children.
