Johannes Jacobus Morgendaal

Johannes was born on March 9th, 1818 and his baptism took place on March 30th, 1818 in Graaff Reinet.  Johannes' father was Johan Casper Morgendaal and his mother was Adriana Heger.  His paternal grandparents were Johan Casper Morgenthal and Petronella Margaretha Esselaar. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Johan, Johan, Johanna, Anna and Jacoba.  He was the youngest of the six children.
