Joachim Hendrik Petitt

Joachim was born on December 7th, 1927 in Beaconsfield and his baptism took place on January 8th, 1928 in Beaconsfield, Kimberly.  Joachim's father was James Thomas Petitt (George) and his mother was Emmarens Hester Maartens. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Hermanus, James, Henry, Izak, George, Elizabeth, Alice and Harriet.  He was the fifth oldest of the nine children.  He died due to heart disease, Coronary Thrombosis, at the age of 49 on January 31st, 1977 in Odendaalsrus.
