Hendrik Pretorius

Hendrik was born about 1701 and his baptism took place on February 1st, 1701 in Stellenbosch.  Hendrik's father was Wessel Pretorius and his mother was Geertruijd Elbertsz.  His paternal grandparents were Joannes Pretorius and Geertruyda. He had a brother and a sister, named Johannes and Geertruy.  He was the second oldest of the three children.  He died in 1733.
