Petrus Johannes Scheepers (Christoffel) 
Petrus was born on June 6th, 1799 and his baptism took place on December 15th, 1799. Petrus' father was Gerhardus Cornelius Scheepers and his mother is Anna Christina Steyn. His paternal grandparents were Frederick Scheepers and Johanna Magdalena Oosthuizen. He had a brother and a sister, named Gerhardus and Martha. He was the second oldest of the three children. Petrus is no longer alive.-
