Marie, known as "Isabeau de Villiers.", was born in 1674 in Chateau Thierry, Picardy la Brie, France.  "Isabeau de Villiers."'s father was Isaac Taillefer and her mother was Susanna Briet. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Jean, Jean-Isaac, Pierre, Susanne and Marie.  She was the oldest of the six children.  She died at the age of 61 in 1735.
