Barend Johannes Vorster 
Barend was born on February 19th, 1794 in Olifantsriver and his christening took place on March 16th, 1794 in Graaff Reinet. Barend's father was Jacobus Adriaan Vorster and his mother was Maartje Lubbe. His paternal grandparents were Barend Vorster and Dorothea Maria Smit. He had a brother named Johannes. He was the younger of the two children. He died at the age of 57 on May 30th, 1851 in Korthoek, Agter Sneeuwberg.General Notes
