Johannes Hendrik Vorster 
Johannes was born on December 2nd, 1818 in Cradock distict. Johannes' father was Johannes Hendrik Vorster and his mother was Sophia Aletta de Meyer (Jacoba). His paternal grandparents were Jacobus Adriaan Vorster and Maartje Lubbe. He had two brothers and a sister, named Olof, Barend and Martha. He was the second oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 59 on January 8th, 1878 in Aliwal Noord,Strydpoort.-
