Abraham was born about 1659 in Temple de La Villeneuve, La Rochelle, Aunis, France.  Abraham's father was Pierre de Villiers and his mother was Elizabeth Secault. He had two brothers named Pierre and Jacob.  He was the second oldest of the three children.  He died on March 31st, 1720 in "Lekkerwyn", Drakenstein, de Caep de Goede Hoop.
