Petrus/Pieter van der Berg

Petrus/Pieter was born in 1740 in Graaff Reinet and his baptism took place there on March 13th, 1740.¹

Petrus/Pieter's father was Jacobus van der Berg and his mother was Maria Magdalena Haak .  His paternal grandparents were Jacobus VAN DER BERG and Jacomina CARTENIERS. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named Jacobus, Jan , Barend, Johannes, Dirk, Abraham, Daniel, Maria , Johanna , Jacomina and Maria.  He was the sixth youngest of the twelve children.  He died before February 18th, 1843.
