Magdalena (Maggie) Frederika Adendorff 
Magdalena, known as Maggie, was born on March 24th, 1863 in Newcastle. Maggie's father was Johan Christoffel Adendorff and her mother was Maria Johanna Aveling. Her paternal grandparents were Johannes Christoffel Adendorff and Magdalena Frederica Heydenrich; her maternal grandparents were Dr Cornelius Klarus Aveling and Agnita Scherpenhuyzen. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Gempie, Wynand, Harry, Louis, Pieter, Angenita , Carolina and Johanna. She was the second oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 73 on July 28th, 1936 in Greytown.-
