Willem (Will) Pieter Maartens III

Willem, known as Will, was born on February 26th, 1917. Will's father was Willem (Oupa dad) Pieter Jacobus Maartens II and his mother was Hester (Ouma Nan) Johanna Snyman. His paternal grandparents were Barend Nicolaas Stephanus Maartens and Susanna Catharina Janse van Rensburg; his maternal grandparents are nn Snyman and NN. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Rent, Jacobus, Matie, Gerhardus, Janse, Fanie, Zichrie and Jacomina. Jacobus and Will were twins. He died from cancer, RECTAL CARCINOMA, at the age of 80 on October 20th, 1997 in Matatiele.
