Isabella was born on January 14th, 1896. Isabella's father was Phillip Jacobus Nel and her mother was Aletta Johanna Catharina van Rooyen. Her maternal grandparents were Johan Christiaan van Rooyen and Isabella Elizabeth Steenkamp. She was an only child. She died due to a medical problem, Bloodclotting defect, at the age of 87 on December 25th, 1983 in Bergville.General Notes
