Johannes Petrus Van Rooyen 
Johannes was born on October 7th, 1867 in Greytown and his christening took place there on January 19th, 1868. Johannes 's father was Gert Helgert van Rooyen and his mother was Johannes Petrus Nel. His paternal grandparents were Lucas Marthinus van Rooyen and Jacomina Aletta Potgieter. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Louis, Gert, Phillip, Lucas, Susannah, Aletta, Maria, Ouma Jakkie and Suscilia. He died at the age of 73 on May 6th, 1941 in Greytown.General Notes
