Martha  Aletta Maartens (Hendrina) (Maartje Aletta Hendrina)

Martha  was born on September 26th, 1882 and her baptism took place on November 12th, 1882 in Barkley East.  Martha 's father was Paul Jacobus Maartens and her mother was Hester Maria Magdalena Roets.  Her maternal grandparents were Petrus Johannes Roets (Nicolaas) and Johanna  Hendrina Mynhardt. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Johannes, Petrus, Paul, Petrus, Johanna and Hester.  She was the second youngest of the seven children.
