Petronella Nicolina Maartens 
Petronella was born on September 18th, 1899 in Cederville and her baptism took place on January 21st, 1900 in Cedarville. Petronella's father was Abraham Lourens Daniel Maartens and her mother was Zachryda Catharina de Bruin. Her paternal grandparents were Hendrik Joachim Maartens and Elizabeth Magdalena van Jaarsveld; her maternal grandparents were Pieter Philippus Nicolaas de Bruin and Johanna Maria Magdalena van der Merwe. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Hendrik, Abraham, David, Pieter, Johanna, Magdalena, Zachryda and Elizabeth. She was the fourth youngest of the nine children. She had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Stephan, Adriaan and Helena. She died about 1963.General Notes
