Sara Jacoba Maartens 
Sara was born about 1741 in Cape of Good Hope and her baptism took place on December 24th, 1741. Sara's father was Jasper Maartens and her mother was Catharina van Laar. Her paternal grandparents were Anthony or Anton Maartens and Sara Moller (Claassen). She had four brothers and three sisters, named Anthonie, Jacobus, Jasper, Frederik, Anna, Maria and Aletta. She was the third oldest of the eight children. She died about 1796.General Notes
